Fallout 1.5: Resurrection

05.12.2015 Status of the Translation at the End of the Year

The year 2015 is slowly but surely coming to its end, and I’m sorry to say that it's clear now that we won’t be able to finish the English version of Resurrection before the end of the year. Even though we’re working as hard as our respective schedules allow, by the end of the year, or latest by the end of January, we will only have finished the actual translation. Afterwards, we’ll still need a bit more time to finish the proofreading and testing. This makes the new estimated release period the first quarter of 2016.

The proofreading has been progressing at a steady pace for some time now. We have checked and corrected all the texts from Albuquerque, the largest city in the game, and are also almost done proofreading Corath. Some proofreaders unfortunately no longer have time for Resurrection, and so in order to keep proofreading from falling too far behind the actual translation, we’ve recruited a new team member – a proofreader who goes by the nickname Resido.

On behalf of the whole Resurrection team I wish you happy holidays. I’ll see you again next year with more news about the translation.
