Have you guys considered tagging Outdoorsman skill? Tag it, pump it up to 100%, and you're golden - no more frustrating encounters, a bunch of experience points granted for every one skipped instead! From hard/combat hard point of view (personal preference): 1. Speech tag is good solution. If i ever decide to play again i will go with it for sure. It gives you many talk options you dont have with 15 speech :) 2. Problem with energy weapon on low level will be price and availability of ammo. 3. ...

I am not 100% sure, but getting Power Armor from Mutant Hunters after getting info about Rebirth Base didnt work for me or i did something wrong. When i came back to Sebastian with Holodisc from Mutant Base, the only dialogue options end up with fight or imprisoning me. Propably did something wrong...

I am not 100% sure, but getting Power Armor from Mutant Hunters after getting info about Rebirth Base didnt work for me.
When i came back to Sebastian with Holodisc from Mutant Base, the only dialogue options were fight or go to prison.
Propably did something wrong or speech 15 is not enough :)

I managed to kill Savior just to see what he have. Of course after that I reloaded earlier save. I wouldn't get out of base, because of forcefields (my science skill was too low to deactivate them). He had Mega Power Fist and Plasma Gatling. In means of dealing most damage in one shot this gun coul...

About merchants i like the choice you have, either kill child abusing merchant or help him and have access to the shop.
I personally killed him and the only item i actually missed is 7,62mm ammo for M249 SAW or antimater rifle (assuming you got YK32 pulse pistol from him before).

Tested many weapons on ghul patrols in Power armor and there is actually very few weapons that are worth it. Found out that best strategy is plasma weapons+aiming in weakpoints (groins, eyes or head). Currently using Turbo Plasma Rifle (35-70 damage) that i found on 2nd or 3rd level of Rebirth Base....

About that mutant base entrance i had to use purple robe and pretend to be a "Master".
With intelligence 9 and speech 15 there was no option to persuade mutant to let me in.
