Store doors are locked in Sedit

Post by KL1 »

First time player here. I'd first like to say what a delightful mod this is! I mean I seriously can't imagine the amount of time and effort spent to make such a huge mod, it's practically a new fallout game. I want to thank everyone who was involved in this. You are true heroes!

I'm only at Sedit now so probably still in the begining of the game. I playing blind but I feel I'm doing ok so far. Going for a Small Guns character with Speech and Doctor skills. Already solved the Maria mystery in Rat Hole but couldn't finish it since I can't get either requirements for either gang, so moved to Sedit. Got to know the place walking around and talking to people. The problem I'm having now is that the door to Salem's store is locked (why?). I don't have good lockpicking skills and by trying to unlock it sadly I managed to jam it. Does this mean it's over for me and I won't be able to do anything about it?

Thank you
Cheers

Jammed locks will be unjammed by the game if you leave the map for 24 hrs, or at midnight (00:00) if you stay on the map.

Also strong characters could pry open doors and containers with crowbar in Resurrection.

@NovaRain
@valcik

Thank you guys for the info. It will sure come helpful.

I also remembered from FO2 that some shops close at night and probably that's why their doors were locked.
