Power Armour in Rebirth Base

Is there a nob-violent way to get it? I can sneak into the storeroom and loot it, but the quatermaster attacks me right after i sneak out

Yes there is! You need to talk to Darrell who is resting near the infirmary on the second floor. Then talk to Dave (the quartermaster) and say that you are Darrell when he asks for your name. You will probably need decent Speech, especially if you have duped him into giving you stuff before.
